More job cuts

Mental Nurse beat me to it but here you go:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2011/feb/17/nhs-hospitals-axeing-frontline-staff

and remember........

http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2010/jul/07/nhs-jobs-cuts-coalition

Notice the line about the Royal College of Nursing "confirming" that nearly 10,000 posts (qualified Nurses) have been cut due to vacancy freezes.

Nurse Anne told you so.

And I have an inkling that their number is only the tip of the iceberg.  My trust alone has got rid of nearly 60 District Nursing posts.  Our hospital is appalling for not replacing Nurses.

As they say over at Mental Nurse: And so it begins......

You think the care in the hospital is shit now?  Just wait.

  2. I don't post here as often as I'd like, but I read often.
You just speak my thoughts really, lol.
Am going to post an epic about future of the NHS tomorrow - if you get this soon, would you read it first? I'd love to know what you think. *gulps nervously*

  3. This is happening all over the shop, but remember that this is entirely down to bad management.

There are NO CUTS - it is a slowdown in the amount our deficit is increasing. By 2015 we will have gone from spending 200 billion more than we earn each year to spending roughly what we earn as a country. By then our national debt will have increased in the 5 years of coalition government from 650 billion to 1.4 trillion.

sacking non jobs and culling management would be a start.

  6. I cant see how all these cost cuts are making things any better. More money should be invested into the nhs in order to improve facilities, improve quality of staff and fund department such as home care and medicine research.

A little about Robyn: The wire should run through the hole drilled in the floor, then along the chassis to the battery. Set your mind completely on one thing rather than opening your email client, listening to music and typing at the same time.
